Beachfields paddling pool improvements
Work is underway on a major refurbishment of the Beachfields paddling pool in Sheerness as part of the £20 million Sheerness Revival project.
The improvements include:
• Resurfacing the paddling pool
• New rubber crumb flooring
• Repairs to the water treatment plant
• Freshly repainted surrounding walls
• New toilet facilities within the fenced area
• Access to a new café serving hatch
• More seating and picnic space for families
The paddling pool will remain closed while work takes place and is expected to reopen later this year once the wider Beachfields improvements are complete.
These upgrades are designed to create a safer, more welcoming space for local families and visitors to enjoy for years to come.
