Defibrillators

We are delighted to announce that we have installed two new defibrillators at Sheppey FM Community Media Centre and Rose Street public toilets this week.  Following the successful donation of our first defibrillator to Criterion Theatre, Bluetown back in 2021, the Council decided to expand this life-saving project to cover more of our town to ensure that members of the public have access to the facility if there is a fatal incident.

We currently have four more planned to be installed at our council office in St George’s Avenue, The Dockyard Church, The Crawford Centre, and the New Road Festival Park playing fields.

We would like to thank RJA Electrical Services Ltd and Swale Borough Councill for assisting in the installation.
