Community Grant Success
Sheerness Town Council is delighted to announce the latest recipients of our Community Grant Scheme.
The following organisations have received £750 to help them with their fantastic projects:
Sheppey FM Community Radio, who will use the grant to fund a new generator to support their roadshows.
Sanctuary Supported Living who support young people aged 16-21. The grant will be used towards a graffiti art project in their communal garden.
Citizens Advice Swale, who will use the grant to help set up and run a regular debt advice surgery in Sheerness.
Strode Crescent Baptist Church, who will use the grant to help fund essential repairs to the building.
The Big Fish Band who will use the grant to help fund their lantern making workshops in Sheerness schools and other youth organisations.
New Road FC, who will use the grant to fund new sports equipment.
We hope that our contribution will help enhance the fantastic services that these organisations offer the residents of Sheerness.
